What We DoMy Father's House Mission is a Christian faith-based organization established to be the hands and feet of Christ. We will assist with safe temporary shelter and food and provide information of services available to anyone displaced.
MFHM continues to work with the State Fire Marshals Office and the Building Codes Office for the City of Springfield to make modifications to the facility at 101 10th Ave E, Springfield, TN. MFHM will not be opening in November for the 2024-2025 season as we expect to still have significant construction activities in progress in November 2024. Our current target date for opening the facility for the 2024- 2025 is December 1, 2024. We will update this website as we get closer to December 1. Training dates for volunteers will also be communicated on this website, on Facebook and by email once they are known. |
Our VisionMy Father's House Mission of Robertson County will help individuals see their worth in the eyes of Jesus Christ as they find their purpose and how to achieve it. We will show the love of Jesus, respect each person we serve, share what we know, engage to show we care, and teach and maintain strong moral principles. |
Stories from Others
Family of 5
A young family of 5 came to the church hosting the cold weather shelter needing help. The father was in barber college and the mother dropped out of school to find work to support the family while dad finished training. Mom worked nights while dad finished school during the day so the children were always cared for. At the end of the week when the shelter rotated to another church, the family was allowed to stay and cared for by the church. After several weeks, the family found housing and moved into their home. The father graduated and both parents returned to the cold weather shelter to return the good deeds that had helped them.
